for your Literature exam.
The first part of the exam concerns the stories. You will answer an essay comparing two or more of the stories. You have your anthology with you, of course. You have an hour for this.
Examiners want: cross-referencing; description (which is brief and focused); appreciation (chiefly of language, using quotations and detailed comments); interpretation (showing an understanding of meanings, attitudes and values).
Notes for the stories, notes which we have created in class, are available from the following links. If nothing appears, well, that's because we haven't done the work yet!
