Modules covered in the first year of Spanish include:
In addition to learning new vocabulary and grammar points, each module gives an insight into Spanish and, to a lesser extent, Hispanic culture and offers comparisons between life in those countries and our in England.
At the end of year 9, students can decide whether to continue their studies of Spanish to GCSE or to take other curricular options. Students can take either the linear or the modular course, depending on their ability.
Spanish is also taught at AS and A2 levels by Mr Murray and Mrs Fernández who is a native Spanish teacher.
