·     Go through the Mock Module test

·     Make a list of your strengths and weaknesses.

 

19th Dec

1 and 2

·     AG and JD running optional revision sessions.

 

20th -26th Dec

 

·     Use EL revision pages to write notes on each of the sections shown.

·     Cross-reference these with the Learning Objectives (list and mind map available).

·     Do selected problems from the Ideas book and from the Calculations book (where appropriate).

·     Eat a mince pie…

·     …and some turkey.

 

27th – 3rd   Jan

 

·     Use DF revision pages to write notes on each of the sections shown.

·     Cross-reference these with the Learning Objectives (list and mind map available).

·     Do selected problems from the Ideas book and particularly from the Calculations book (where appropriate).

·     Try to widen your experience of Enthalpy cycle calculations by doing some that involve ΔHc, ΔHf, and Eθ (bond enthalpy) data as well as those that don’t involve organic molecules (for example qu’s 4-9 pp94-103 in your calculations book).

·     Have a little drink.

·     Finish any remaining turkey (yum!).

 

4th & 5th Jan

 

·         Final consolidation of ‘Big Ideas’ in EL

 

6th & 7th Jan

 

·         Final consolidation of ‘Big Ideas’ in DF
